Preface

The Vampire Church (VC) acts as a haven and resource for real vampirism. Vampirism is not a religion and therefore the VC is not a religious institution. The VC offers a place where real vampires may learn and share the experience of real vampirism. In as such, we desire to bridge the miles between people thru an online community where others may find and contact other people. Through online forums and meetings The VC will provide a resource of information to address the misconceptions about vampirism by the film industry and the media. The VC opens it's forums to people who seek to learn about real vampirism as described on this site. We want to educate all about the misconceptions and myths of vampirism so that more in society will understand the vampire.
The VC wishes to work with other communities to help others in the vampire community understand and cope with the vampire condition. In this effort, we are not role players, but we are aware that there are many people who enjoy the game of role playing. The VC recognizes that there are many in society that suffer from the vampire condition, and we use the term "vampirism" as that is what we recognize is the closest recognition of this condition by most familiar with it. You can read further about how we define this condition in the purpose and philosophy section of this site.
