As someone who is in the business I can tell you that the reason for that is alot of scenes from the books we don't or can't get permission for the things and places to do them. Since we're denied, we got to improvise something that is close or better than that scene in the book. If you only see the movie and never read the book, the movie is always better.....if you read the book and then see a movie, somtimes it's not that great. Just a little info into why films don't always match the books or is as great."

Vamps cant necerally survive off each other. First vamp blood and human blood is commpletely diff. Second vamps arent really canabilistic. They dont suck eack other to feed. I'm not a big fan of anime' but in this story the "enemy" is a Vampire who does not wish to spend eternity alone and risks everything to take his mortal love to a vampiric safe-haven. A live action version this movie would be incredible."

We all have our own thoughts and opinions and in light of recent happenings, it would be nice to see what others might think. To narrow the field abit, think in terms of this: There are many that believe we are in a "dark time" because so many "tragic" things are taking place...Not neccesarily on a more frequent schedule than any other time, but perhaps on a larger scale. Can we really attribute these events to "darkness" or is it that we have no other way to define such tragic events? Must we always label tragedy as "dark" or can we just say...things happen that we may not like, when we may not like, and how we would rather not like them to happen? There is also Vampirism. Why must it seem to all something "dark" something that should be whispered and kept from most everyone because so many think of it this way? Is it because we have grown up this way...or is it just easier to do so? It is not to say we will be able to go out and speak to just anyone..but really...So much "darkness" in the world these days that no one wants to find the actual "dark" which is really bright and sustaining for many....let me know if you would....."

It didn't. from the moment I saw Stuart Townsend on the screen as Lestat, it felt like he was talking only too me. He kicks. I liked Queen, and although I hear ppl whine that its not the same as the book, I don't care! Neither is Interview. In the original version, Louis shoots Lestat when he comes in Louis' house, and from what I hear, Blade is based ona comic and Blade orginallyw asn't an african american. Hmmm. But of course I love QOTD and its soundtrack. I like the versions of Lestat's songs with Jonathan Davis singing best, and if you don't have QOTD on DVD, you should get it. It has extended concert sequences of the Death valley Concert, a hillarious Gag reel, and Lestat's Videos, plus Static-X in Cold, plus more outttakes. As for Dracula 2000, I didn't see it, but the soundtrack was fair. In my HO the whole Dracula movie thing has played itself out. I am not a diecore fan of bela, or lee. The only one I liked was The Oldman dracula, or the Rudolph Martin Dracula when he did "prince Of darkness" for USA, when he played the real vlad. As for Blade & Blade II, I am not fans of. I prefer too watch BTVS, which I love.

Brom strokes dragula was the best, love that movie.
